My Wife’s First Deer Hunting…

        She looks a little annoyed for being told to get up and get dressed.

I can tell you, she wasn’t happy  getting up at 3:00AM to go sit in a Deer Stand 100 ft. in a tree ,in 47 degree weather was not much fun.

                    While waiting for a deer to come by..

Waiting on a white tail to come strolling by, so she can shoot it, sounds like fun to me! So there she was ,  cold and shivering when the 700 lbs. buck came and strolled by. She shot once and he dropped.

She can smell the victory, gun powder at the end of the smoking barrels.

I was giving her a nudge to pull the trigger when she realized that she got him.  Now, time to clean and take the gut out and take him to the butcher.

                             No, it wasn’t Bambi.

We loaded it up at the back of my new Ford F-150 and off to the butcher I went..

          Time to pose for the camera, she seems excited ..nah, it’s not showing off….
