The Blind Side

Oversized African American Michael Oher (Quinton Aaron), the teen from across the tracks and a broken home, has nowhere to sleep at age 16. Taken in by an affluent Memphis couple, Leigh Anne (Sandra Bullock) and Sean (Tim McGraw), Michael embarks on a remarkable rise to play for the NFL. This inspirational sports tale also stars Kathy Bates as Michael’s tutor, Miss Sue. Bullock’s performance garnered a Best Actress Golden Globe.

Sandra Bullock has been my favorite actress since I watched Ms Congeniality. And the last movie of hers that I have seen was  THE BLIND SIDE which I was only able to watch after she won the Golden Globe as Best Actress in Drama Category.

This movie is amazing, It gave me goosebumps while watching it, it might not be as a a tear jerker as I expected, but I cannot help but admire this woman who welcome a stranger into her home and gave him a roof over his head.

If you haven’t seen this movie, this is a remarkable one and highly recommended.
