NOSTALGIA: Dan and I
I believe that this picture was taken around 1998 or 1999 in Chicago. Dan was like 3-4 years old. We used to be really close. When he started being a teen ager and had his own room, video game and own TV, that’s when he started to be independent. No more needing Mommy except for cooking, hmmm.. I miss those days that we were doing something together, when it was just the two of us, before Rodney.
Apple Picking somewhere in Indiana with my aunt’s family. Those were the days. I guess, when our kids start to grow up, they just kind of stay away from their parents and do their own thing. I am so proud of my son that at age 16, we never had a problem with him. He knows when to be silent and he probably got grounded from playing video games couple of times , but that’s the worst punishment he ever got. Now, he’s learning how to drive and pretty soon, he will be driving. My child is not a child anymore. I miss his being a kid…when he used to tell me “yabu Mommy, you’re my princess” Now, he has a different Princess. Tsk!!
Now, he’s 16 and pretty soon will be a grown up and possibly moves out of the house. My first born has grown…Where has my baby gone?
I can relate with you somehow. medyo may mga bagay na that my kids prefer to keep to themselves than share with me. Feel ko yung pictures niyong dalawa ni Dan, 'yan ang edad ng mga bagets na ang mommy lang pinakamagandang babae para sa kanila. sana parating ganun ang mga anak natin ano.
Wahhh, yan ang kinakatakutan ko kasi very close sakin si EJ ngayon baka pag nagkabgirlfriend na eh malimutan na ang Mama lol.. Ang gwapo ni Dan. May binata ka na Mamiliz.

aww… nalungkot naman ako sa post mo na to ate liz… talaga nga, lumalayo ang mga bata habang lumalaki, at ang magagawa nalang natin ay titigan ang pics at malungkot… hehehe… ang gwapo naman ni kuya dan… 16 and driving na? waaah!!! ako kaya kelan matututo? hahaha!!!
