NOSTALGIA: My Princesses

Wrozlie was 8 months old when I got pregnant with AJ.. I didn’t mind, Rodney and I talked about having 3 kids together. While I was pregnant with AJ, I was wishing that it would be a boy, since I don’t want people to compare my 2 girls if it happens that I was gonna have another girl. Wrozlie I thought was so cute, and I was afraid that either the one I was carrying be prettier or less pretty. But then I realized, no matter what the gender was, I would still be thrilled.

Fair enough I had another girl and we named her Alexandra Jeanne. She was so beautiful when born, I can already see how pretty she would be. Wrozlie was pretty in her own little way. They managed to play together and they seemed to get along well, until AJ came to around 2 years old that they started to fight with the same thing. They always want the same toy, and even if I buy the same but different color, they would fight about the specific color. They drive me nuts.

But what I found out about these two. Even if they push each other a lot, they fight all the time, when I ask AJ who’s her best friend, she would immediately say “Lollie” Siblings have their moments, and they would call each others names, but at the end, they would hug and protect each other from people who want to hurt one of them.

when I look at my girls’ pictures I can’t help but wonder, what are they going to be when they grow up? I miss them being babies, when they were so dependent on me on about everything. Now, they are growing so fast and they’re making Mommy sad that in few years time they will have their own secret to share between each other and probably Wrozlie will have a different best friend (not me anymore) and maybe they will talk about boys when I am not around and they will stop when they see me coming. I love looking at their baby pictures when all they wanted was me…
