I Love Hey Arnold
Guest post from: Joe Castro
Hey Arnold is a fantastic show for children and young teenagers. Hey Arnold centers around the story of Arnold, a forth grader, and his friends, including Gerald, Harold, and Helga, and their lives in the city. Arnold lives with his grandparents in a boarding house, and many of his friends have interesting quirks about them that make the stories more interesting. For instance, Helga is generally a bully, and hates Arnold, but she secretly has a huge crush on him, and even has a shrine in her room dedicated to him. Scenes of her secretly professing her love to him help add to the show’s humor.
I love tuning into Hey Arnold on satellite tv from www.tvbydirect.com/directv-programming.html as a way to relax and enjoy myself. Many children can relate to the feelings of Hey Arnold’s characters and the experiences they go to, and even older audiences can enjoy this children’s show, as they remember their childhood. Much of the humor is funny for both children and adults, which makes it a great show for children to watch with their parents, too. There are many good life lessons to be learned from the show, in addition to just being funny entertainment to watch. I enjoy watching Hey Arnold because Arnold is a good hearted kid who is easy to root for, and because the show is always funny.
