For Your Own Protection

When we were house hunting. we looked at this nice house that I thought would be ours. White porch, big living room, family room and it’s 4 bedrooms. White painted house and the backyard is fenced and very private. The great thing was, it had a swimming pool. I loved it so much that I told my husband that I really liked it. The problem was, the swimming pool was open, there was no swimming pool safety fence and he said, it is very dangerous to our toddlers. During that time, we had a 2 and 3 years old that can drown. I don’t know how to swim, so we ended up not buying that house. Now, we don’t have any swimming pool and we go to my friend’s subdivision to get some water during summer time. Oh well, I believe my husband did the right thing.
