Our Little Fashionistas..

Today was my kids’ picture day at school. I went to buy them outfit yesterday so they will look nice on their photos. Morning came to get ready and they didn’t want to wear what I prepared for them. Can you imagine us fighting over their outfit? They both didn’t like what I had for them, and so they chose their own outfit.

Our first fashionista wanted to wear a tank top with a checkered top over it. This is how she wanted to look like, and Mommy can’t do anything about it. She knows what she likes and I guess I just let her wear whatever she wants to wear so she doesn’t get late for school.

Our second fashionista changed her outfit 4 times before she decided that she will go for this school girl look. The outfit belonged to her sister (the fashionista 1) last year and it’s an old outfit, but since she can’t wear her Halloween Snow White outfit, she didn’t like the ones that I bought for her, and she also didn’t want the other top that I got out of her closet, she settled with this one that she wore on the picture.

My girls are ages 5 and 6 and we argue every morning because they don’t like Mommy’s taste of clothes. What is happening in this world? When I was little, I didn’t have many outfits to choose from. I had to wear whatever was the best. I think this was the problem, if you don’t have much to choose from, it’s easier, but if you have a lot, it gets harder.

Oh well, I am happy that my kids are a lot luckier than I was. Now, even if they are choosy, at least they have something to choose from, unlike when I was young, there was nothing. I believe that when my girls grow older, my problem will become bigger. Whew!!!
