Swimwear, Are You Serious??

I went to the store yesterday to do some shopping. It was pretty chilly because I left around 9am and that time, it was a little over 30 degrees. For me who is not fond of cold, that means, think jacket with hood, boots and my mittens. Well, I normally go to the grocery area since I wasn’t planning on buying anything that cannot be eaten. Right now our priority is food. While I was still blowing my hands with some warm air, I looked straight and what did I see? Racks of bathing suits, ladies swimwear..I was like, are you stinking kidding me? Here I was shaking and I am staring at bikinis and bra? The more I felt chills on my spine.

It’s funny how stores always put out their new merchandise way too advanced. I could understand people who like to buy their things in advance, they wanted to get the best style and of course their size. I normally wait until they go on sale, so I always end up not finding my size. I always come to the area when it’s already been picked on. So, I am used to getting the style that I really don’t like but had no choice.

I went to my favorite online store and of course, they already have their 2012 Spring Fashion merchandise, and guess what I found? Yes….swimwear.. I picked to feature some of the ones that I like, I might buy it, who knows…. Carson Pirie Scott always has the best photos when it comes to fashion, that’s why I love checking their website coz I can learn a lot about the new trend..

I know that in few months time, it will be warm especially here in the South, so I won’t be surprised if people start buying swimsuits. I will need to get one this year, I gained weight, so I would have to buy a bigger size, wahhhhh!

Accommodation For Seniors

Being short is not one of my insecurities, in fact, my husband said that, this is what made me attractive to him. My only concern with my lack of extra inches is that whenever I reach something on top of our cabinet, I have to get a chair so I can step on it. I had been thinking of getting me a step stool that way it would be easier for me to keep it accessible whenever I need it. I can store it and use and re-use anytime. My youngest daughter is needing one too, she cannot reach the sink when she brushes her teeth. I can get her a character design because she would like to brush her teeth often if I get her her favorite stool.

For Your Eyes and Lips

For someone who doesn’t know how to apply eyebrow make up, I needed to go to You Tube just to watch others on how to do their make up. I am clueless when it comes to stuff like this. I guess that being a simple non make up person like me, trying to look pretty is going to be hard. I don’t even pluck my eyebrows because it hurts. I can’t fix my eyebrows like my other friends because I am afraid that it won’t be even. I can’t even choose a perfect lipstick for my lips that would match my skin color. Ahhhh! I need help and I am glad that people share their make up tips on You Tube. Now, I can learn…

The question is…Will I be able to do this to my own eyebrows and lips? There’s only one way to find out…

When I ordered my Keurig carousel, Carson’s was having a free shipping if you spend $99 and over. So, for me to take advantage of the free shipping, I had to order few more stuff to avail it. I looked for some of their clearance items and found few that I liked. Yellow dots mean bargain. This is how I shop..when it’s on sale, then there would be additional coupon. I love shopping at Carson’s, since I don’t need to pay taxes, and I make sure that I don’t pay shipping too. They always have sale going on. When I shop online, all I have to do is enter the coupon code and I get the extra off.

These items might be clearance, but these can be worn until next winter time. So, basically, I have few stuff ready for next cold weather.. and I got it for a bargain price. Yay! Sometimes, you just need to wait before you shop. I always shop at the end of the season to get their out of season clearance sale. Try it, you will save a whole lot.

My Favorite Store Of All Times

I used to work at Carson/Bergner’s long time ago. I love to shop there because they sell only the finest quality of merchandise. They have most of the brand names that people love to buy. I subscribe to their newsletter so I can get notified if there is a sale going on. I shop online all the time, since there is no Carson’s store around here. This department store is for the whole family. They don’t only sell clothing, accessories, fine jewelries, cosmetics and footwear, they also have houseware and textile. If you are looking for a store where you can shop and be proud of what you bought, this would be the store that you can trust. Marquis Cherry Bedroom Vanity Set

It was just the other day when I told my husband that I want a vanity set in our bedroom. I am tired of going to our bathroom sink and fixing my hair while standing up. We have a dresser with big mirror, but if I sit on a chair, I would be too far away. He said that since tax season is here, I can start browsing at bedroom vanity sets and see if I can find one that’s affordable enough and that would be my birthday present. I love it that it’s getting close to my birthday, but I am dreading it at the same time, because I will be a year older. It’s inevitable, so there’s nothing I can do about it.
