My Couponing Days Has Begun

Yes folks, I started clipping coupons and I am liking it. When I visited my SIL last Saturday, she showed me her coupon book and all the goodies that she collected and showed me a receipt where it showed how much money she saved when she went shopping. I was like “really?” Now I am hooked. Because it was on a Saturday that she told me about her great hobby, I bought 2 Huntsville Newspapers and gathered some coupons from the inserts.

I still have a whole lot to learn about this stuff and being a newbie, I need some assistance from who’s already been doing it for a long time. My SIL is so nice enough to teach me how to do it and if you are also interested in saving bunch of money, it’s time to clip those coupons from the mail or newspapers and what not. Saving money means putting money in your pocket and isn’t that we all want?

Know The Lemon Law

This is actually the very first time I have heard of a lemon law. Every state has their own lemon law to enforce. My cousin who lives in California bought a used car few months ago. She can’t afford to buy a brand new car, and luckily, she was able to get used and it’s installment which is prefect. It was fine during the first few months, but she said, the third month, the engine acted up. She called the dealership and asked if she can return the car, she was told she cannot, because when she bought it, and signed the paperwork, it’s hers and it’s now her responsibility.

My cousin is 23 years old and she doesn’t have any knowledge when it comes to vehicle. All she knows it to drive it, put gas and sometimes clean it. She called us to talk to my husband and asked him what can she do in this situation. Knowing my husband, he won’t just accept the reason that “it’s now her responsibility”. My husband went online to look for solution, and found a website for California Lemon law lawyers who can help my cousin with her dilemma. He told her that she just cannot take whatever those people at the dealership tells her to do. Lemon Law attorneys in California are great about helping people who get stuck with the used car that they bought. They get the option to offer the company to buy back the “lemon car” that they are now driving or they can get a new car or truck and that is called vehicle replacement.

This is what we always see when we go to fast food chains. My son also has a name tag that he uses whenever he goes to work. For me, it’s great to know who we are talking to, or dealing with. We also see name plates when we go to banks or other offices, their position in the company is also included with their names. It’s nice to familiarize ourselves with people around us. My husband has a name plate hanging outside his office wall. It would be easier to find someone’s office if they have names written outside the door if you are new to the company. Who can remember hundreds of employees inside a big office? Not me, that’s for sure.

Conference Call Made Easy

Isn’t it great to communicate with your friends, family or co-worker using teleconferencing services? I can still remember when we were young, over 30 years ago. I have an uncle who worked in the Middle East and the only communication they had was through letters and tape recorder. It takes months before you can hear from your loved ones. Then telephone became available and although it costs an arm and a leg, they would pay to hear their family’s voices. Then came internet, although they can’t afford to buy their own computer, there was internet cafe where they can go online and email their families. Webcam was introduced and so on and so forth. Modern technology rocks!

Fashionable Work-Out

It’s not because we only work out doesn’t mean we don’t need to be fashionable. Although I do my walk at home work out, I still want to wear something not only comfortable but also pleasant to the eyes. I know, I know, no one will see me but me, but, oh well..I still want to become fashionista. I just bought myself a new running shoes and I am so loving it. It’s very light and so comfy while doing my work out. My walk at home requires a very soft and comfortable footwear. When I found this shoes, I fell in love with it right away. It’s Nike Women’s Running it says, and when I tried it on, I felt like heaven sent a foot angel down on me. I already used it twice because since I bought it, I already worked out twice.

I used to have a Skechers shoes but sometimes, it hurts my feet. I also bought a Skechers Shape Ups and it also hurts my feet. That’s why I didn’t stop looking until I found something that would match my wide feet. Then I found my partner in walking.

Two Full Dozen Hand-Dipped Birthday Berries

My daughter AJ, is turning 5 in a month’s time. She’s been asking for so many things and I always told her to wait for her birthday. She mentioned it again tonight while we’re at the store. I am planning on taking her to ChuckEcheese for her birthday, invite few friends and let the kids enjoy the day. I only need to look for lots of birthday goodies for kids since it’s my tradition to give out great goodies to kids who came to our birthday party. I know that kids would really enjoy chocolates, or something sweet. I am always excited on my kids’ birthdays, because I know that they had been waiting this day all year long.

If you will do a research about how many musical instruments exist out there, you will never be able to count it. Try to go to the music store and just look around. I bet you, more than half of those instrument are not known to you if you are not musically inclined. I admit, when it comes to music, I can only name guitar, keyboard, violin, piano and such, what about most that I have never seen in my forty one years of existence yet. My Sunday Shopping

I was so happy that my husband gave me a Me time today. He watched the kids and I went to Ross by myself. I took my time, gathered all the tops that caught my interest, tried them on. Unfortunately, among the 16 tops that I tried on, only 4 worked. It’s either they didn’t look good on me, or they were too tight (still trying to lose weight..) I bought me a pair of bathing suit for this summer. Eventhough hubby told me that I cannot post a picture of myself wearing the bathing suit, I will still take a picture just for my own personal use:)

Having the time for yourself is great. I am a stay at home mom and whenever I go somewhere, I have my 4 year old daughter with me all the time. So, when a time like this that I can go by myself, I cherish it and enjoy every minute of it. Thanks Hon, for letting me shop alone. I didn’t have to worry about losing someone while checking on some stuff. I didn’t have to say “no, we can’t buy that” or ” stay where I can see you!”

I don’t go to expensive department store, I shop where it’s affordable to my budget. And as usual, I bought stuff for my girls. It never fails, everytime I buy something for myself, I buy stuff for them also.

All the tops that I bought hide bulging bellies, since no matter how I work out, my belly can’t get flat. I am still working hard to make it go away. I enjoyed my shopping day, and although I spent money today, I know I deserved it. I used my birthday money though, so I did great.

Where do you shop? You can go to either Ross, or TJ Maxx and you can buy name brands for an affordable prices. They sell great looking outfit as well, dresses that will make you look gorgeous this summer and shoes that are reasonable. You will enjoy shopping at these stores. I have a friend who goes to the gym religiously. He is trying to build up muscles and I was wondering if he is taking Natadrol for supplement. He used to be skinny and gained weight for the past few years. Now, he is doing his best to be healthy and fit. His goal is to lose unwanted fat and gain muscles. He is doing really great and if you see him now, he is going to get there in few more months. He is very happy with the result, he deserve it, for all the hard work that he’s putting into working out everyday, I believe that he will reach his goal in no time.

Ways Of Controlling The Crowd

When we go to banks, theater and concerts, don’t we see velvet ropes, stanchions and some other way to control the crowd? No matter how disciplined people are, when they see something that they adore, chaos can happen if there are no ways to control them. Barricades can also be used to isolate a place where people are not allowed. Good thing about this crowd control stuff, the place would be so quiet, and will run smoothly. I went to a show one time and oh boy, there was a long line to get a ticket, I was glad that they had velvet ropes around and people follow it, no line cutters and the line went fast.

Crowd control works great during political campaigns too, and some outside shows. Can you imagine if people are just all over the place, what if the most famous Hollywood superstar appeared, for sure, there will be stampede and people can get hurt. That’s why controlling the hysterical crowd is needed. I can be a behaved audience, but once I found out that one of my favorite actors is somewhere out here, I don’t know if I can control myself from running wild

Banks, government offices or other places where there is always massive of people need to have ways to control them in a daily manner, otherwise, it can be chaotic. For everybody’s sake, crowd control is essential.
